• About PlantRoots

The comparative collection of below-ground plant organs has two parts: images and herbarium.

All specimens are localized.

Herbarium specimens are stored at the Department of Botany, the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen (Index Herbariorum: PL).

 

The collection was founded in 1999–2001 and it has been growing ever since.

Financial support was provided by the project VaV MK ČR RK99P03OMG021.

Remarkable work has been done by Jaroslava Nesvadbová, Sylvie Pecháčková, Eva Honzíková, Pavel Pecháček.

Free for non-commercial purposes on condition that the citation rules and moral standards will be kept.
